Duration:The duration of the OTT course is generally 2 years.

Objective:
To train students in managing and assisting in operation theatres, sterilizing instruments, arranging surgical tools, and supporting surgical teams before, during, and after procedures.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: 10+2 (Intermediate) with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics) from a recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: Generally 45%–50% in 10+2. (Relaxation for reserved categories as per norms)
  • Age Limit: 17–35 years (may vary slightly by institution)
  • Medical Fitness: Must be physically and mentally fit.
